style="font-size:130%;"&gt;CALIDADES Y NORMATIVAS DE LUBRICANTES&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#003300;"&gt;NORMATIVAS&lt;br /&gt;Dentro de las distintas calidades de aceite que nos podemos encontrar en el mercado están clasificadas en dos apartados API y ACEA .&lt;br /&gt;API significa: American Petroleum Institute (Instituto Americano del Petróleo)&lt;br /&gt;ACEA significa: Asociación de Constructores Europeos de Automóviles.&lt;br /&gt;Son los encargados de medir la calidad de los aceites, entre otras cosas (combustibles, grasas, ...).&lt;br /&gt;La viscosidad de los aceites de motor se miden en grados SAE (5W-40, 15W-40, 20W-50, etc.).&lt;br /&gt;Los grados SAE de viscosidad expresan la viscosidad del aceite en dos temperaturas extremas: frío (número junto a una W) y caliente (número sin W).&lt;br /&gt;Dependiendo del grado SAE, los aceites tienen distintas calidades. Para un aceite 15W-40, los hay mejores y peores. Y no siempre el más caro es el mejor.&lt;br /&gt;Para distinguir la calidad del aceite hay que buscar en el recuadro donde ponga:&lt;br /&gt;API SJ-CG4, ACEA A3- 98/B4-98.&lt;br /&gt;CLASIFICACION API&lt;br /&gt;API establece dos series, una para los aceites para motores de gasolina (serie S) y otra para los diesel (serie C).&lt;br /&gt;1. API PARA MOTORES DE GASOLINA&lt;br /&gt;Consta de la letra S y otra. La primera fue la A (poca calidad) y la última la J (máxima calidad, a día de hoy).&lt;br /&gt;Categorias de aceites que hoy dia están en uso:&lt;br /&gt;SL Para todos los motores de vehículos livianos en uso actual. Se introdujeron el 1 de Julio de 2001. Los aceites SL están formulados para permitir un mejor control de los depósitos a altas temperaturas, así como un menor consumo. Algunos de estos aceites también pueden satisfacer las más recientes especificaciones ILSAC o caer en la categoría de conservación de energía, o ambos.&lt;br /&gt;SJ Para motores de 2001 y anteriores.&lt;br /&gt;Categorias de aceites que hoy dia están en desuso:&lt;br /&gt;SH Para modelos de 1996 y más antiguos.&lt;br /&gt;SG Para modelos de 1993 y más antiguos.&lt;br /&gt;SF 1988 y más antiguos.&lt;br /&gt;SE 1979 y más antiguos.&lt;br /&gt;SD 1971 y más antiguos.&lt;br /&gt;SC 1967 y más antiguos.&lt;br /&gt;SB Muy antiguo. Usarlo sólo cuando específicamente lo recomiende el fabricante.&lt;br /&gt;SA Muy antiguo. Usarlo sólo cuando específicamente lo recomiende el fabricante.&lt;br /&gt;Si el fabricante de nuestro vehículo nos recomienda usar aceites API SG, podemos usar aceites SH y SJ y SL, pero nunca SF o inferiores.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;2. API PARA MOTORES DE GASOIL&lt;br /&gt;Consta de una letra C y otra, y a veces un número.&lt;br /&gt;Cuanto más alta es la letra de mejor calidad en la tabla, mejor aceite.&lt;br /&gt;Categorías de aceites que hoy día están en uso:&lt;br /&gt;CI-4 Se introdujeron el 5 de Septiembre de 2002. Para motores de cuatro tiempos y altas revoluciones que deben ajustarse a las normas de emisiones de 2004, establecidas en el 2002. Formulados para alargar la vida útil de los motores que funcionan con recirculación de los gases de la combustión (EGR) y para ser usados con combustible diesel con un contenido en azufre de hasta 0,5% en peso. Se puede usar en lugar de los aceites CD, CE, CF-4, CG-4 y CH-4.&lt;br /&gt;CH-4 Diesel rápidos, 4 tiempos. Sustituye las categorías CD, CE, CF-4 y CG-4.&lt;br /&gt;CG-4 Servicio severo, motores rápidos de 4 tiempos. Sustituye a CD, CE y CF-4.&lt;br /&gt;CF-4 Diesel rápidos, 4 tiempos, atmosféricos o turbo. Sustituye a CD y CE.&lt;br /&gt;CF-2 Servicio severo, 2 tiempos. Sustituye a CD-II.&lt;br /&gt;CF Todo terrenos, inyección indirecta y otros. Sustituye a CD.&lt;br /&gt;Categorias de aceites que hoy dia están en desuso:&lt;br /&gt;CE Diesel rápidos, 4 tiempos, atmosféricos o turbo. sustituye a CC y CD.&lt;br /&gt;CD-II Diesel de 4 tiempos.&lt;br /&gt;CD Algunos diesel atmosféricos y turbo.&lt;br /&gt;CC Motores de 1961.&lt;br /&gt;CB Servicio medio desde 1949 a 1960.&lt;br /&gt;CA Servicio ligero de los años 40 y 50.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;CLASIFICACION ACEA&lt;br /&gt;La institución CCMC desapareció en el año 1991 y la Asociación de Constructores Europeos de Automóviles (ACEA) publicó sus normas en 1996. Con ella nació una nueva forma de elaborar y llevar a cabo los ensayos de motores. Además, las especificaciones ACEA son incluso más exigentes que las actuales normas americanas API.&lt;br /&gt;Tienen otras pruebas distintas para medir la calidad del aceite.&lt;br /&gt;Constan de una letra, un número y dos cifras.&lt;br /&gt;A Serie para gasolina.&lt;br /&gt;B Serie para diesel de servicio ligero (turismos).&lt;br /&gt;E Serie para diesel de servicio severo (industriales).&lt;br /&gt;1 , 2 , 3 , 4 o 5 Número eficiencia Técnica.&lt;br /&gt;96 , 98 , 02 Cifras año de especificación.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1. ACEA PARA MOTORES DE GASOLINA&lt;br /&gt;A5 Para uso en intervalos grandes de mantenimiento en motores de altas prestaciones de baja fricción y aceites de baja viscosidad. Pueden ser inadecuados para ciertos motores.&lt;br /&gt;Consulte el manual del fabricante.&lt;br /&gt;A4 Reservado para las especificaciones de los motores de inyección directa de gasolina&lt;br /&gt;A3 Para motores de altas prestaciones, intervalos de mantenimiento alargados o condiciones de trabajo muy severas.&lt;br /&gt;A2 Aceite de uso general para la mayoría de motores con intervalos de mantenimiento normales, no muy recomendable para motores de altas prestaciones.&lt;br /&gt;A1 Aceite para motores específicamente diseñados para usar en baja fricción. Pueden ser inadecuados para cierto tipo de motores. Consultar el manual del fabricante.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;2. ACEA PARA MOTORES DE GASOIL (SERVICIO LIGERO: Turismos)&lt;br /&gt;B5 Para uso en intervalos grandes de mantenimiento en motores de altas prestaciones de baja fricción y aceites de baja viscosidad. ACEA PARA MOTORES DE GASOIL (SERVICIO SEVERO: Industriales)&lt;br /&gt;E5 Mejora a los anteriores, mejora el control de depósitos en los turbodiesel. Para las mismas condiciones que el E4 y además con intervalos de mantenimiento alargados.&lt;br /&gt;E4 Mejora al E3. NORMATIVA EUROPEA SOBRE EMISIONES CO2&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Una norma europea sobre emisiones co2 es un conjunto de requisitos que regulan los límites aceptables para las emisiones de gases de combustión de los vehículos nuevos vendidos en los Estados Miembros de la UE. Las normas de emisión se definen en una serie de directivas de la UE con implantación progresiva que son cada vez más restrictivas&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Evolución de las normas europeas de emisiones para los automóviles de GASOLINA. Hasta Euro 5, no había limites en cuanto a particulas en suspensión&lt;br /&gt;Las etapas son normalmente denominadas Euro 1, Euro 2, Euro 3, Euro 4 y Euro 5 para vehículos ligeros. Las series correspondientes de las normas para vehículos pesados utilizan números romanos en vez de números arábigos (Euro I, Euro II, etc.)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;El marco jurídico consiste en una serie de directivas, cada una es una modificación de la Directiva 70/220/CEE. La diferencia en los requisitos de emisiones de escape entre un motor diesel Euro 3 y otro Euro 4 es considerable.
